Conversion Weekend Starts March 30th!

The services below will stop at 3:00pm on Friday, March 30th and resume Monday, April 2nd at 7:30am

We are excited to announce that SOCU has made the strategic decision to change and enhance our computer operating system. We’ll be making the transition over the weekend of March 30, 2018. Because this is no little project, all locations will be closed Friday, March 30 at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1. Monday, April 2, we’ll reopen for business as usual – only better!

Our enhanced system will provide many benefits to you, our member, such as improved teller line interactions and more convenient access to Online and Mobile Banking. What will be unavailable?

Online Banking - Mobile Banking - Audio Banking - Billpay - Remote Check Deposit

What will be available?

SOCU's phone system will be up and running. Our call center will have extended hours from March 30th - April 6th. Note: During certain times account balances may be unavailable.

What branches will be closed?

All SOCU branches will be closed on Friday, March 30th at Noon reopening Monday, April 2nd at 7:30am.

What will be changing?

Our audio banking system formerly called PATTY will be getting a new phone number 815-510-3084. All users will have to create a new pin number to use on this system. To do this call 815-510-3084 and follow the prompts.

Loan and share ids will be changing to four digit numbers. If you are used to using a suffix letter this change will be reflected on online banking and statements. If you are unsure of your new id please contact us.

Following conversion, your statements and eStatement will have a slightly different look with your April 30th statements moving forward.

What will not be changing?

Your account number will remain the same!

SOCU Debit Cards. Your PIN will stay the same.

Checks, pre-authorized payments, and direct deposits.

Direct Deposits and pre-authorized transactions, including transfer, automatic payments, debits, credits and payroll deposits, will continue to be processed.

Online banking login, mobile banking login, remote check deposit, Billpay, credit & debit card numbers will all remain unchanged.

What should I do before conversion?

We recommend that you take care of any in branch or online transfers, deposits or withdrawals prior to noon on March 30th. If you need cash, be sure to withdrawal enough to last the entire weekend.

If you plan on traveling during this time please contact our Plastics Department as soon as possible.
Please plan on bringing your SOCU Credit Card as an alternative way of payment.
If you do not have an SOCU VISA Credit Card you can Apply Online for a VISA Card today.

Using our New Audio Banking System

Our new audio banking system will allow you to check your balances, transfer money, request a check, or request a stop pay. To use audio banking, you will need to first set up a PIN in the new system. Begin by dialing 815-510-2494.

To complete the set-up, you will need
*Your account number
*Last 4 digits of your social security number
*Date of birth
*A new 4 digit PIN

This information will only need to be entered one time. Any time you use audio banking after that, the system will only ask for the account number, last 4 of your social security number, and your PIN.

Once you complete the set-up, you will be able to choose from a list of prompts to complete your audio banking needs. After selecting a transaction prompt, the system will ask you for the “Account ID” from which you are wanting to complete the transaction. Our new system assigns each savings, checking, or loan in your account with an account ID.

Unsure of which account ID you should choose? You can select the # sign to get a list of account ID’s and the balance related to that account. The list consists of all accounts related to the type of account you are searching for (example savings account) that you are owner or joint owner of. Once you hear the correct account ID simply hit # again and the system will take you back to the transaction menu.

Will Deposits be Affected on Friday, March 30th?

All ACH deposits/withdrawals will be posted on Friday before 2pm CST. Any RDC or other types of deposits will also be deposited if received before 2pm CST. Any night drops received on Friday after 7am will be processed Monday, April 2nd.
