Streator Onized Credit Union has made a $5,000 contribution to the Illinois Valley Community College Peter Miller Community Technology Center capital campaign. Other financial institutions contributing to the campaign include Financial Plus Credit Union, Midland States Bank and La Salle State Bank. “Streator Onized has joined others who have stepped forward and shown investing in education is investing in the community,” Corcoran said. The campaign has raised more than $1.5 million of its $2.1 million goal for enhancement to the 80,000-square-foot building opening this fall.
