Save a $1 - Opt Out of Amazon PIN-less Debit

Amazon.com often processes debit cards as "PIN-less" debit transactions that will incur a $1 pass-through fee when completed. To avoid using your card in this manner and instead processing it as credit, you can take the below steps in your Amazon account and save yourself the hassle of incurring fees.

1. Go to Your Account.
2. Under Payment Methods, select Manage Payment Options.
3. Next to the payment method you would like to change, select the down arrow.
4. Select Edit.
5. Uncheck the box that is next to Processed as a debit card.
6. Select Save.
