Relay for Life
June 11th, 2014Streator Onized Credit Union has participated in Relay for Life for more than 10 years. Jessica Holland and Hannah Essman have been leading the team for the past three years, but both said it is a group effort.
“Everyone who wants to can sign up to show up that night,” Essman said. “Then we all work as a team that night to sell things and walk. There is probably about 30 people on the team, mostly employees of SOCU. We do fundraising year-round and everyone helps out here and there.”
The two captains shared how their team takes part throughout the year in Relay for Life.
